This is a cute little story. Not something that will change your life, but for what it is, it's pretty cute.
Every page has an image from a different Golden Book story. (Sometimes it seemed like the writing was a bit stretched just so they could get a certain picture to fit... but all in all, it was pretty fun.) I think this would be most enjoyed when read with a friend/someone to laugh with.

I didn't find this version of the Everything I Need to Know... series as entertaining as the first one I read, which was the Christmas one. I'm waiting to get the very first one--hopeful that is more enjoyable.

An awesome book for those who grew up with Little Golden Books. I recognized so many of the illustrations from books I read when I was a child. Adults will appreciate this book more than children. It has a great message about love.

Very cute book. Had a few ideas that were old for me, but the principle was there and it was a cute, fun, quick read. It was lovely.

Super cute with sweet advice! I just received a copy from my Mom for Easter - the perfect gift for a single, 25-year-old who works in a library

Of the three of Muldrow's Little Golden Book books I've read so far, this is my favorite. I think it's the most heart-warming. I also like the choice of illustrations. They rely heavily on classic European fairy tales such as "The 12 Dancing Princesses" and "Beauty and the Beast," and the fairy tale illustrations are absolutely stunning. I'd also never seen the King Arthur illustrations before, and those are quite impressive as well. Plus, I give it bonus points for including probably my all-time favorite Little Golden Book, 'The Color Kittens.' For its lovely message and illustrations, plus its nostalgia value, I give this book five stars.

I read this book on loan from my mother, who purchased it at Barnes and Noble. I was not obligated in any way to write this review, which represents my own honest opinion.

This series is so fun! It's great how they take illustrations from classic Golden Books and rework them to tell a story or lesson. This book is a little short for my taste, but I would still recommend it for the gorgeous illustrations. Be sure to grab all of them for a nice holiday present for that bookworm in your life!

Same as the other one I read.... a bit schmaltzy for my taste.
