amazing
It’s hard for me to write this review because I’m not sure I won’t start crying again. This wrecked me. I know I’m suppose to have closure but Dom was end game. He deserved more happiness than the glimpses he had. He finally found it…finally found his breath and his light and it was taken as fast as it came. He was too late…his regret with his decisions ruined me, he deserved more time and redemption. He put everyone else before himself and he was so loyal to his brother…I wish Tobias showed that level of loyalty to Dom. I’m heart broken.

I wasn’t a fan of Dom in Flock or Exodus but listening to his story made me love him.
“We love rainy days, don’t we, baby?”
“We do.”

Loved Dom and his POV was perfection. I loved knowing what was going on in his head in his time with Cecilia. This book explains so much that I needed to know in the Ravenhood series. So good!

Kate really said she wanted to destroy us all over again with this book, and wow… she did a damn good job of it. I’m a mess once again over these characters and honestly shouldn’t be surprised after the masterpiece that was The Ravenhood Trilogy. But here I am, gut-punched for shits, giggles, and a mess of tears dried to my face.
This book was everything we needed, despite the repetition of pain we’d already gone through to get here. I loved every minute of it and was genuinely surprised (and so grateful) for the additional depth this POV gave us.
Now the question is… do I dare move on to Severed Heart? Will it break my heart all over again? I’d be shocked if it doesn’t.
Also, a huge thank you to Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell for being such insanely talented narrators. The way they breathe so much life and connection into these characters might just be the cherry on top of all my emotions.

OMG... This closes the loop on so many questions left unanswered in Flock and Exodus and a little from The Finish Line. You thought Exodus was sad, and heart breaking... Lemme tell you what, leading up to THAT scene... This will rip a whole new hole in your heart. So perfect.
