The plot was so good—full of twists and turns that kept me theorizing the whole time, and I truly didn’t see the ending coming. Unfortunately, the amount of smut was a bit much for me and overshadowed the story at times. What really brought the experience down, though, was the praise for russian literature. Given my personal context, that element was frustrating and took away from my enjoyment.
I don’t know. I don’t care about the characters and can’t be made to, it seems.
