I thought this was a normal book about a "just for the summer" romance in Paris... but, boy was I wrong. I don't care if you believe that a "Plot twist" warning is a spoiler, nothing can prepare you for this book. The first twist was crazy enough. It went from a simple love in Paris to
Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
AND THEN!!! The calendar!!! it just... I was absolutely devastated the way there was just no reprieve from the anguish I was subjected to.
AND THEN!!! THE EPILOGUE!! The feeling of relief was indescribable.
This book was just so meta. What started off as a boring (sorry) and predictable book, turned into a read that I just couldn't put down. Ultimately, I just cannot believe that I fell for the
"It was all a dream"
trope TWICE!! I loved this book. All I can say is wow...

There is almost nothing I can say about this that will be a spoiler - and I am very grateful for the reviews that came before me not sharing anything that would spoil this book for me.

I'll just say - this is an easy and fun read!

“Tell me what you’re feeling right this second.”

“Every single thing I thought I’d never feel again.”

5/5 spice and a plot twist that actually made my jaw drop when i read it

I absolutely loved I laughed cried and loooove this book... All the feels

Slow burning start. It was base in Paris. She started over something from her past. Like her daughter death. He is an artist. They both like each other but don’t want to date each other, just sleep together why she in Paris for the next couple months. He is a mystery guy? He doesn’t want to talk his work. He is giving me red flag already but I’m only 37% into the boom so no clue what is going to happen next. So her ex-husband wants her to leave Paris because she not safe? So many questions going through my head. Her ex-husband is a bad guy and what happened may someone killed their daughter. James aka new guy is trying to save her. So she was having a mental breakdown and the story was fake make was just imaginary everything. And she ran over daughter omg didn’t see that one coming. The ending I got on.
