I got distracted by the term WASP. Wasn't sure what it meant and went down a research rabbit hole.

Ultimately, I decided that the book doesn't align with my intent to read more POC authors.

DNF. Had bad feelings about the potential not traditional style HEA so I went and read a summary. This book would have been a wild ride but not my cup of tea. Narration was BEAUTIFUL for the part I did finish though!

Completely threw me for a loop and it was devastatingly amazing. Not a fan of the epilogue tho..

Olivia is living in Paris for the summer when she sees a random guy at a Cafe, James. They meet again at a gallery and the sparks fly from there. I won’t lie, the first half of the book, I was like where the hell is this story going to go if this is all that’s going to happen? The TWISTS be TWISTING in this book! Omg! If you’re considering DNFing around the halfway marker…PLEASE keep going!!

I honestly can't put into words how this book made me feel.

I would advise going into this book completely blind.
