The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore . It's everything I expected it to be: super cute, super cozy, a very Hallmark-style story. Gilmore Girls town vibes all around, and it had some spice too! I didn't expect it to be more romance than mystery genre. But I still liked the story of Jennie and Logan.

An autumnal, light, easy to read small-town romance, but the main characters Logan and Jeanie fall for each other too quickly, in my opinion. It was a spicy read that didn't quite hit the spot. So, it's a romance of a flannel wearing farmer who needs therapy and a woman who's inherited the cafe from her aunt, trying to find herself. The small town element and autumnal theme work, but for me, there needed to be more, both in terms of character development and plot. Ultimately not for me.
