 Suzanne Collins is once again back at it to tear my heart into pieces. Haymitch's slow decent from a boy who was rather content in his life to the shell of a man we meet in The Hunger Games is as soul crushing as it is impossible to turn away from, proving to us if you thought you knew what happened, maybe you too had fallen for Panem's propaganda. The author had something and she slams you in the face with it, and I loved every second of it. Bring tissues with you, you're going to need them

I enjoyed this as much as the others. This book ties together some loose ends, some of which I didn't even realize needed tying. I'm only rating it less than a 5 because I think Suanne Collins maybe tried a bit too hard with how many familiar characters there were.
