A page turner that will keep you reading. The whole atmsosphere of the book was dreary, in keeping with the theme and setting. Spoiler, Just difficut for me to read as a book because of the topic of mental illness is so prevelant throughout.

A mystery/thriller that starts off promisingly with lots of atmosphere. The final reveal is a bit disappointing though, and kind of hard to swallow.

I really loved this book, it's engaging and well written. I read it in less than 24 hours. I found myself completely enthralled.

The only complaint I have is that as someone who has suffered with severe anxiety and depression I found the main character to be thoroughly unlikable. Despite having so much in common I felt that I couldn't relate to her at all. She was completely selfish and her descriptions of the others helping her on the project are written as if they are from the perspective of mean girl Regina George. I really had a hard time feeling any empathy for her.

That being said, this was a great story and I felt that the answers to the mystery were worth the build up and story. A lot of times when I read horror stories the ultimate revelation can be somewhat of a let done but I didn't feel that at all.

This is a great, I definitely recommend it despite my lack of love for the main character.

Creepy bók! Varð sjúklega spennó í miðjunni og gat valla hætt að lesa, en alveg scary og las ekki rétt fyrir svefninn
