I really liked the beginning where we unravel all of the relationships between the town's people. Also really liked the descriptions of the midsomer night and the northern part of Sweden. The final revelations were not done as well as in the previous book.

Why does the feminist vicar need to be gay? Why does her lover also need to die?

Pretty good. Interesting but Rebecka Martinsson was a peripheral character at best.

The beginning was a bit tedious, it took me a while to "get into it", but the ending was really worth it. Plus, I still love the Northern Sweden atmosphere.

Not Larsson's best, IMO, but still a good read.
