This was an absolute delight. I loved both of our MCs immediately. It was funny as HECK. I loved all of the characters-- every single side character was an absolute delight (except our villain/bad dad). Scheming servants, an overzealous street urchin, brilliant (and possibly neurodivergent) friends, and very sexy spice. I couldn't ask for more. 

The audiobook was read by Mary Jane Wells and it was absolutely delightful to listen to.

Beauty & the Beast inspired marriage of convenience between a grumpy Duke and the seamstress who knocks him on his ass. A great series starter and a perfect intro to HistRom.

The humour was dry and smut cringe but I won’t lie about how easy it was to listen to the audiobook while doing other things… it kept me entertained though I’ve read fan fiction with more fleshed out characters and a better narrative plot…
