Very enjoyable book! Dark and gore but also witty, ironic, might i even add funny. Amazingly written, such good vibes and settings. Although there was a little too much cooking vocabulary for me (i had to google a lot of things) i wouldn’t take it any other way, it added a lot to the atmosphere. A few plotholes, a few boring parts.

What I liked; the deep, passionate explanations of food and its origins (especially genuinely learning more about truffles and kosher butchery). I also can totally get on board with the horniness. I had fun with the verbose, rich linguistics of it which felt fitting for her character.
What I didn’t like: a protagonist so completely psychopathic that she’s quite dull to spend time with. An increasingly far-fetched series of events and choices that climax with a reveal that, to me, genuinely just doesn’t make sense (
the Dorothy that we have grown to know, who uses fake names and wigs and burner phones and abseils down the side of buildings to avoid getting caught- just wouldn’t throw a receipt in the bin.
) Not a book I enjoyed much really.
