Slow start but overall not a bad book. Lots of weird sexual metaphors that I didn't enjoy but they made sense in the context of the main character. Wouldn't re-read.

Very enjoyable book! Dark and gore but also witty, ironic, might i even add funny. Amazingly written, such good vibes and settings. Although there was a little too much cooking vocabulary for me (i had to google a lot of things) i wouldn’t take it any other way, it added a lot to the atmosphere. A few plotholes, a few boring parts.

I was feeling my toes dipping into a reading slump and this book dragged me right out of it. The narrative voice gets insufferable at points but the pacing and story telling methods is fantastic.
