What a delicious story. It's heavy on erotica and most of the book happens in a bubble of dinner times with the two main characters, one of them blinded and bound to add to the feeling of being disconnected from the world.

The story is set on a space empire with corruption and oppression. Still, it's really sweet - and cute to be honest. And this combination mostly works, I'm not thrown out of immersion feeling it's too fluffy for the setting.

Very interesting and entertaining book, I didn't manage to put it down to go to sleep, and now I'm tired.

I loved this book! From the very start it grabbed my attention and never let it go. Loved so much about this. Exceptional writing, with strong characters, a great story, great world building without overdoing it or getting technical. It was hot, it was kinky, it was wonderful.

This was an alright book I suppose but a little too fast in the romance for me. Plus
the main character never told the love interest he loved him which bothered me especially when the love interest did

After seeing that it had pirates?? Well, I was down to dive into it.

However, after diving into Blind Space I found myself getting bored rather quickly. I didn't think pirates in space was going to be something unlikable.. but this book did that to me. Ugh, so disappointed because I wanted to like this M/M so freaking much!

It has been a while since I've read a M/M romance book. In it, you will meet Tristan and Valero. Tristan is the captain of the Prince's guard. Valero is the wild pirate on the ship that is holding Tristan prisoner. Doesn't take long for things to heat up between the two but I felt like something was missing for me.

Not the smut though because things took off. However, I did not get some of their kinky stuff but to each their own I guess. Other than that, it was an okay book. Not my favorite but maybe this M/M just wasn't for me. Will definitely have to try another out.

Marie Sexton has yet to disappoint me. This futuristic, sci-fi adventure was fantastic. I love world building, and Blind Space has created a very fascinating world. As a fan of Firefly, this was right up my alley.

Captain Tristan Kelley and his men are escorting Prince Rikard through the blind space when their ship is ambushed by pirates. He and his men are kidnapped and held for ransom, but in the interim the pirate Valero sets out to seduce the temporarily blinded Captain Kelley, who finds himself beginning to question his loyalty to the Regency.

I found the characters quite fascinating, and the questions raised about loyalty, corruption and levels of "bad" were very interesting. At first, probably because of Captain Kelley's loyalty to them, the Regency is supposed to be the "good guys," but the more I learned about the pirates' past, I found my own loyalty shifting as well.

Politics aside, the relationship between Tristan and Valero was fun to watch develop. I enjoyed that Tristan was resistant at first, and that Valero was respectable enough not to push him too far, but once they made it over that hurdle, *whistles*, it was completely worth the wait. It was very sexy, and the kink was a fun addition.

All in all, this was a very sexy, pirate-filled adventure and yet another great piece of fiction from Marie Sexton.

3.5 - There is not a damn thing wrong with this book. Sci-fi, hot ass pirates, prisoners, men in lingerie, and smoking hot sex (lots of it), bad evil Regency, spoiled Prince, politics and love. Oh did I mention the smokin hot sex?

This was a nice, sexy interlude that should be read for what it is, a simple story that was well written and very sexy. Marie never disappoints!

This was a really good book, but not my favorite Marie Sexton. Not sure if it was because it was set in space or what. The writing was good, the story was awesome. It really touched me in parts, like all Marie Sexton books do.
If you like Marie Sexton, or if you like sci fi, definitely read this book!

4 stars. I am currently 2 for 2 in my MM sci-fi journey and I couldn’t be happier about it. This was my first book by this author (even though I own a ton of her work) and I think this was a really good starting place for me.

I really liked the writing, it’s addictive as hell and I found it super easy to get sucked into the story from the very first chapter. This book checked all of my boxes. There’s a certain kink in this that I can never get enough of, very sexy, dirty and well done smut, a strong hero and a relationship that starts off on the wrong foot. I was a very happy girl while reading this to say the least.

Tristan and Valero’s relationship is the epitome of hot and I loved seeing Tristan slowly let his guard down and begin to trust him. There was just the right amount of action and did I mention there were space pirates? I think the only negative for me is that I wish that this was a series and not just a standalone because I seriously want more. I’m very excited to get to other books by this author, I have a feeling she could become one of my new favorites.

Space pirates! Yes this book is just as cheesy as it sounds. I nearly stopped cause it was getting so predictably cliche, but John Solo's voice is a powerful thing and kept me going.

Captain Tristan Kelley is loyal to the space empire that conquered his planet as a child and has been blindly following the orders of his Prince as captain of his guard. But he's deeply under appreciated (cue violin) but wait! Space pirates board their ship and take them prisoner. And it is under the imprisonment of these pirates that Tristan learns what true loyalty and devotion mean. Also he had a lot of sex with his pirate captor. Like I said this book is cheesy. Also why do they have laser guns, but then have to shave with handheld blades? Like old school barbers. I feel like Marie Sexton perhaps didn't take full advantage of the sci-fi element that comes from a story about space pirates.

But the characters were thought-out and I'm never one to say 'no' to pirate-captive sex, so I still found this book enjoyable. I also must admit that I was surprised at what Tristan's secret kink turned out to be. That was a twist for me. And I was glad he managed to rise from the puddle of love-hazed goo he had become and show some spine in the end. It was a little touch and go there.
So all in all a fun book to pass an afternoon, but not earth shattering by any stretch.

A nice story about space pirates. I like sci fi, but a good romance with a sci fi theme is a rare find. Loved it.
