This was a short tale but it had twists galore. The major two twists were satisfying enough to appeal to mystery-thriller readers and they didn't come out of the left field nor were they deus ex machina.

The author has done an incredible job to pack so much into such a short story. A great plot centring around a 15 year re-union of old friends who had experienced a shared tragedy. The characters were well depicted and the scenes vividly described allowing the reader to be deeply immersed in the story. Action packed, a great twist at the end and very entertaining - I just wanted it to go on longer!
