While I consider myself fairly familiar with Western feminists, I was given a glimpse into other international feminists and some of their battles. Fighting for women's rights appears to be as old as time itself. Topics of female autonomy, independence, and intelligence are presented as continued issues of angst for women. With each story, a small amount of progress is made, and when the woman isn't killed, she finds peace in solitude. It begs the question of what has to change for women to be seen as equal to men. We aren't there even today.

Pretty good - nothing crazy. Wish they had gone farther into marginalized groups but it’s pretty much to be expected.
