I felt like this was a really in-depth book about someone's health awakening. It pulled no punches AND had some gross bits, too. Least favorite of the Housewives books.

As someone who had Lyme Disease which took years to send into remission, I am extremely grateful to Yolanda Hadid for using her platform to tell the world about it. That is what drove me through this book--my desire to see Yolanda get better even if she has to go through an incredible amount of pain and awful treatments to do so. That being said, even though this book is written "with" another author, I still struggled at the way the story flowed, and at the sentence level writing. When Yolanda says she is not an author, she is right. If I had not been so interested in the issues and the treatment, I would never have made it through this book. I didn't necessarily gain any medical information at all in this book, despite the heavy duty warning at the front about not using this book as medical advice, as so many treatments just don't work for her.
