I think I wanted just a bit more to happen. More action or movement in the plot. Though I think this is also a good build to where more of that will happen in the next volume so I'm looking forward to it. But I adored the art style and over all vibe of this graphic novel. Full of poc and queer characters. I did not expect to love the raven character so much but everything Banana said made me laugh. I really love the mother/daughter relationship and hope to see more of that in the next book. The friendships are lovely and I can't wait to see what they do next after Prill's look at the end.

This story was awesome, honestly better then I was expecting and I already came in with high expectations based on the description. The art? Great! The characters? Great! Pacing? Great! World building? Great! I'm officially all caught up with the web comic so now I'll just be waiting for the Tuesday/Friday updates.

I've been reading this webcomic for a few weeks now and didn't know it had a physical book! I like it a lot, there's a ton of diversity in almost every way you can think of. Also as someone who dramatically cut her hair quite a few times after graduating high school, this is oddly validating.
