I was pulled on by the amazing artwork first. Then the story got me. It was so good and very unique. I loved Nyneve. I would love to read more of this series.

I was so hyped for this book and it ended up being such a nothing for me. There were so many juicy tidbits and potential plot points that ended up going absolutely NOWHERE. Like, I understand that there is a sequel but gimme somethin' will ya?

I like the premise, I love the magic system, and the art is beautiful. I'm interested to see where this continues, and what the ultimate journey will be. If anything, I wanted more of the world. There were moments that could've developed, characters and relationships that could've been absolutely beautiful, and I was bummed not to get that. However, there is room for it in the future.
