Even though I am busy with real life stuff, I couldn't stop myself from reading the sequel. I really like this one more than the first. And to be honest, this series could have been a single book. There are more exciting stuff in this one.

A great elementary-grade sci-fi book!
A few repetitions, and the dialogue comes off as stilted sometimes, but overall a very enjoyable series with a nice conclusion. I loved the themes of the undertone, and am happy with how Chipper's arc wrapped up.
Would recommend for younger kids or for a beach read.

I could not love this duology more! I think it's criminally under-read and talked about. I really enjoyed the direction this one took and it was a great, if not a little sad, ending to the duology.

Great conclusion though the end was sad. I saw all the reveals coming but since it's a middle grade books, hopefully kids would be surprised. Even still, enjoyable book/story and characters. Huge fan of Chipper! :)
