Fun read, enjoyable story of an owner of an estate sale business and the crazy family drama she uncovers. This is 3rd in the series, I haven’t read the first 2 yet, but this one had a lot of characters so was tough to keep them all in order. Good mystery

A decent mystery very slow at getting my attention.

An interesting read if you have an interest in the main character's business of handling the left overs of dead people? The history that is unraveled and crimes committed while she deals with the contents of the house may be worth the read? The main character is married to a detective!

Audiobook review

Treasure in Exile was my first Palmyrton Estate Sale Mystery and I really enjoyed it. While the books feature recurring characters, I did not feel lost by not having read the earlier books.

I enjoyed the plotting and pace of the story. I can’t recall ever reading about an estate sale organiser who falls into sleuthing courtesy of the job, but it works. Audrey’s enjoyment of her work comes through the narrative and her desire to solve the mysteries she stumbles across comes from a genuine desire to learn the truth.

The mystery in this book is not one I would ever have guessed the solution to. It was a well woven story and brings insight into past rules of society and how they impact people today.

I enjoyed Janelle Tedesco’s narration. The tone, pacing and emotion were all done extremely well. Each character had their own voice, and I particularly enjoyed the character of Ty. He was a lot of fun even though it’s obvious his life has not been the easiest.
