I received an eARC of this book from the author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.

When I see a book about mythology, I grab it. I love Greek/Roman/Norse/Egyptian….well you get the picture

I love mythology retelling.
We get to see god and goddess relationships with each other.
Freya is an interesting character whom we get to see the evolution of her feelings towards alec.
From hate to love when she finally admit it, it's frustratingly too late and it's the end of the book.
I can only hope they will find each other again as I really like them together.

Wow, I’m blown away! It was amazing! It immediately reminded me of Madeline Miller’s Circe in the context of the Olympian vs Titan storyline but also in the beautiful and poetic language used. The story, of course, is very different. It brings new life to well known Greek myths and perhaps some characters that are not often explored in such detail. I love the main character Freya. She’s a mystery that I look forward to being explored more in the next novel. Freya and Alec’s relationship is intense. I do hope to see them work through the issues. I highly recommend this book!

Beware The Fallen by Logan Delayne was an amazing book. Gods, Titans, forbidden feelings, fierce and passionate hatred, what else could you want? Oh, you want revenge too? This book has it!! Freya and her sister have led a VERY VERY sheltered life until Cenia stole a shell. This book is full of everything you could want from a book. You're going to love it!! 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up.
