More like 2.5 stars. Rounding up because it was free and because it made for a good palate cleanser after the horrid misanthropy of Consider Phlebas.

Fairly standard fare, as far as contemporary MM romance goes. Lust at first sight (with enough common interests that it turning to love was believable), the inevitable conflict that separates them for a bit, and then they come back together for a stronger relationship. Lighter on the angst than many of these, which is a plus in my book. It ends on a HFN, with an indication that the story will continue (there was an excerpt from the next installment in my copy, but I ignore those unless I know for certain I plan to continue the series).

It could use a bit more editing, and Grech really needs to figure out how to do non-jarring time breaks in the narrative (a line break would be a good start, though that could just be a Kindle formatting issue). Still enjoyable as a fluff read.

I gobbled up this 3 book series. Reef and Ford are absolutely adorable together. Not to mention smokin hot when it gets to the dirty bits. I loved how little angst we had to deal with in this series. The two just fought for each other always, never really doubting their devotion to each other. Between avalanches, douchebag coworkers, and being separated for long months for Reefs snowboarding season the couple stayed strong.

Poor Ford, all the poor guy wanted was a few days here and there to see his sweetie and his jerk of a co-worker couldn't even cover a shift for him. Whenever he could steal time to see Reef on his tour, it rejuvenated Reef fully, just seeing the man he loved. These two adored each other. Reef gave Ford a chance at a loving family, and Ford gave Reef a true home. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series.

Side note: is anyone else wondering what's in store for Mase, Ricky, and Caden?

Head over heals

I've fallen for these two unexpected soul mates. I love a great story with surprising twists and turns, which this book was full of.

I want more!

I absolutely loved this series. The twists and turns kept me holding on tight as though I were on a roller coaster. These characters were diverse and I loved them from the start.

I would love to see a novella with a glimpse of their white picket fence future.

Not good - what there is of it

This is not a terrible book, but it's close. It's so unrealistic. It makes no sense and every problem (the very few that exist) is solved easily or pushed off to the next book.
Dialogue is so awkward and on-the-nose. Seriously, no one talks like that. Everyone just blurts out everything they're thinking. That's not how real people act.
The story ends at 84% and the rest of the file is previews and advertising for the author's other books. As if I'm going to buy any. Nothing is wrapped up at the end. Eurgh. This is not even close to a whole story.

Fun read, great chemistry between the two main characters. This GFY story pulled me right in with the easy banter between Reef and Ford, I loved the sweet nicknames they gave each other. Sweet story

A good story set in New Zealand, in the beautiful town of Queenstown. As a family we have holidayed there many a time but never in winter as we are not snow bunnies.
The story itself is a double GFY. Two men - a world champion snow boarder, Reef Reid and an alpine paramedic, Stratford (Ford) Wallace, get stuck in a cabin when a blizzard unexpectedly strikes. They feel the spark between them but both are shocked by their feelings and don't act on them till after they are rescued. A thoughtless remark breaks them up just as they begin their relationship but thankfully after some drunken communication and soul searching they get their HFN.
The start of the next in the series was there as a teaser and is a continuation of their story which I will be getting.
An enjoyable, low angst story. 4 stars

This book is double gay for you. There is no chemistry and the writer is forcing romance that's just not there. I skipped through lots of this, it's more of a DNF because I skipped so much.
