Boa escrita. Excelente descrição das personagens.
Capítulos demasiado longos. Partes desnecessarias e muito aborrecidas

The book actually had for the majority of it. I really liked the family portrait and I really liked the complexity of the characters. However, the reveal kind of let me down.

Everything I Never Told You

This is the mystery of a girl's disappearance, but more than that it's a story about family.

This is the story of a mixed race family in the 70s, consisting of a Chinese-American man James, his American wife Marilyn, and their three children, Naith, Lydia, and Hannah. Each lead incredibly different lives, and we get to see them in both past and present.

Nobody understands each other, and yet each feels misunderstood. Each character is incredibly flawed but in a way that is heart wrenchingly realistic. Everybody has secrets and things they don't know how to say.

If I had to complain, I would say this felt a little unnecessarily long, and that at times I lost sight of the plot. The characters could also be hard to sympathize with, but that was of course purposeful.
Naith's ending, when he looks down at earth as a marble, literally made me tear up.

PG-13 For child death and mention of sex
