A Sloan era uma personagem com potencial e eu atรฉ tive bastante pena dela no comeรงo do livro, mas depois comeรงou a irritar-me profundamente. Sim, eu percebo que ela tenha medo do Asa e com razรฃo, mas podia ser um bocadinho mais inteligente e nรฃo dar-lhe tudo o que ele queria de mรฃo beijada. O Luke รฉ o pior polรญcia a face da terra. Como assim estรกs numa situaรงรฃo de pressรฃo e nem dois minutos depois admites a tua identidade. Eu nรฃo tenho palavras.
A histรณria nรฃo รฉ interessante. Tem muita coisa acontecer mas ao mesmo tempo nรฃo acontece nada. ร repetitiva e, sinceramente, pareceu-me uma cรณpia de โIsto Acaba Aquiโ pior executada e na versรฃo mรกfia. O final foi ridiculamente arrastado, mas acho que mostra o quรฃo mau รฉ o sistema de justiรงa, neste caso nos EUA, mas tambรฉm por todo o mundo.
Sinceramente, estou feliz por ter chegado ao fim e juro nunca mais pegar num livro da autora.

This book reminded me why I started reading CoHo and LOVE her!!!! Fast paced, dark, sensual, deep love story of how a young woman triumphs and defeats through a troubled life and abusive relationship!!
โโthe only thing i didn't understand or like was that Sloan named the baby after the undercover agent Dalton. It would have made more sense to name the baby after Undercover agent CARTER: his father!

The story moved way too quickly. I didn't realize what it was about until too late, I tend to just pick up her books without reading the synopsis now. But it just made me uncomfortable the whole time. It also just moved too quickly for my liking. I know I should feel at least a little sympathetic for Asa but he deserved much worse. This book was much more intense and upsetting than I anticipated.
