I didn't enjoy these short (often short short) comics as much as Fake's Gaylord Phoenix, but that story with the erogenous parasites was amazing.

Geez, I am always thrilled by Edie Fake's work. He's a brilliant artist who knows just what needs to be shown and said and then, knows how to push the reader's discomfort to important, eye-opening levels. This compilation of his comics is a psychosexual trip. These are vignettes of carving turkeys, loneliness, anal beads, monsters outside your window, queerness, jars of piss, leeches, desperation, death.

Weird knotty queer trans comics collection. Incredible, overwhelming, alternately dense and minimalist. I love Edie Fake's Gaylord Phoenix, and it was great to get to read some of his prolific zine output from the last 15 years.

This one is hard to put in to words.
But if I had to, I'd call it "An illustrated neo-dadaist punkadelic exhibition that's stumbles purposefully into the liminal and erotic self-reflections of the author's queer identity and intrusive thoughts".

What perverse delights! What gruesome treasures! What admirably irrepressible weirdness! This collection of short works cements Edie Fake as the queer avant-freak artist of not *just* my gay dreams, but our very times.
