Perfect.
This was exactly and I mean exactly what I needed this morning. Woke up at 6am on a Saturday for god sake with no reasoning why. Decided to give up trying and picked this up that I had downloaded on a whim from KU weeks ago, and my god this blew my socks off this morning. Wonderful loved it. Want to read it again.
*Trigger warning* this book does mention rape and murder of women. If you're not in the right head space than avoid this but it is HEA so everything is resolved...

Every time I pick up a book by Aurora Rose Reynolds so always sucks me in right away. And Before We Fall was no different. The dedication alone got me!
After Miranda finds out her husband is having an affair she pulls her strength, takes charge of her new life and moves on. She moves on right to Tucker who is one silent brooding man. Phew! Tucker is not only the “new guy” but he is the ex husband of the mistress. Talk about DRAMA! But Tucker makes up with it with his dirty mouth!
The book flowed so well. Absolutely in love!
Firstly, thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC!
*All thoughts and feelings are all my own, and I was not influenced to write this review*
In so little words, I loved this book! It was the perfect mix of spice and heartfelt moments!
The story surrounds Miranda, a stay at home mother who finds out that her police officer husband, Bowie, is cheating on her. She diligently plans her escape route by landing a new job and apartment prior to confronting him. She attends the Policemans Ball with Bowie to find out that his mistress Naomie is in attendance with her husband Tucker, who is also an officer. Tucker and Miranda start to form an unlikely relationship after their second chance encounter, while Bowie and Naomie do everything in their power to break them up.
Without revealing spoilers, I loved this book! No third act breakup, and the most charming kid! The single parent trope isn't normally my go-to, but Reynolds does such a great job at making it believable. Kingston's budding relationship with Tucker was so adorable!
Let's talk about Tucker & Miranda. When their relationship started, I felt as though it was going very fast and leaning toward an instalove trope, but I quickly remembered that the novel spans a few months and not days. Tucker is possessive and has almost an unhinged attraction to Miranda, which makes the spicy scenes top notch! However, there are also many moments where he shows his sensitive, caring, and protective side when it comes to Miranda and Kingston. Tucker is so swoonworthy!!!
Overall, such a fun read! I really enjoyed this novel, and I'm so happy to discover Aurora Rose Reynolds! I can't believe this is the first novel I have read from her. The writing was fantastic and I can't wait to read more!
It's available on Kindle Unlimited!

Before We Fall is a standalone novel, but we have side characters from the Until Her/Until Him series.
Anything I read by Aurora Rose Reynolds is 5 stars. She is one of my auto buy authors.
This follows Miranda, a strong FMC, and Tucker our alpha male. We first met Tucker in Until Willow, which is a book in the series mentioned above, so we get more of Clay and Willow.
Miranda is married to Bowie and they have a 3 year old son, Kingston.
Miranda’s world is turned on it’s head when she finds out Bowie has been having an affair with a woman named Naomi, who is also married!!!! To Tucker?
Tucker takes no action with Naomi until he knows Miranda has done everything she needs to with Bowie.
Melinda and Tucker have an undeniable chemistry and connection between them, even though they know they should stay away from each other because of who their ex’s are. I loved how great Tucker was with Kingston.
When Bowie and Naomi find out that Miranda and Tucker are dating, they are not happy and try to separate them.
You don’t quite get the BOOM that you get in the Until/Until Her/Until Him books, but they do both fall for each other quickly.
I do love that you also get a mystery that needs to be solved as a sub plot.
I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Will Miles, Tucker of other brother, and Emma, Miranda’s best friend get together or will they each get their own book??
