Ah! We're getting somewhere! Jane had some nice character development here and IMO, this is one of the better books in the series.

Woohoo! I'm a big Beast fan. I've wanted them to come to more of an understanding and it seems that they are growing towards that. Romance with Bruiser is great! Leo is a cad and Jane should put him in his place again. I just love it when she whips his butt fighting. *fan sigh* lol
Some bad secrets come out about Leo and his people's stupidity.
Gee should be nicer to Jane. I think she's going to find out that she is a lot more powerful as she goes along. Especially with Hayyel's boost.

Better. Jane finally has some good stuff in her life.

Good times with Bruiser - hence the PG-Married label.

The three have tried to trap a rainbow. And the European Vamps are coming.

More of the same, but if you like the genre and Hunter's writing style, and the world she created for Jane Yellowrock, then it's a fun read. It kept my mind off my plane flight :-).

I loved the plot and relationship developments between Jane/Beast. Their relationship has changed considerably over the past 8 books, and it's always something I wish the author spent a little more time on, and I was so happy to finally have the discussion on 'Jane is killer only'. I did find the timing a little forced in the scene, and the amount of power given to Jane is quite high, so I think the author will have to look out for Mary Jane tendencies.

Finally Rick is out of Jane's heart! Bruiser was my favorite since the limo scene in book 2, and I appreciate the slow building of power and independence from his pivotal scene in book 6 that led him to be able to show up on her doorstep with flowers now. However I wish there had been more flirtatious interactions between them leading up to it - I felt kind of like Jane did, very surprised and dumbstruck.

I love the Jane Yellowrock series, and this was a fun installment. I'm reviewing it way too late to remember details, but it's a 3.5 for me, rounded to 4.

This book is the best Jane Yellowrock book to date. Bruiser. Just. The flowers. Catnip?! Loved it.
