Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!
I think the opening is so strong that the ending feels so lackluster in comparison. Too rushed and short at the same time. I would be okay with this book getting a sequel because I like the world and its character, but I would hope that the pacing would be greatly improved.

Faith Erin Hicks has a gorgeous art style and beautiful sense of color theory. However, this book falls on a lot of repetitive stereotypes. The plotting mean girl, her "henchman", the whip-smart low-income girl, the pixie dream girl with potential, etc. I was hoping for some elaboration or subverting of tropes, yet that was not the case.

Como lectura juvenil no está mal, pero no me llegó mucho. Un final algo abrupto, sobretodo porque no parece que vaya a tener continuación

I want more.
As usual Faith Erin Hicks does not disappoint. Interesting, Smart Characters. Non-Cliche Ending.
If you are a fan of Lumberjanes, you will enjoy this.
