was way too caught up in this story. Just like volume 1, volume 2 leaves off in a cliffhanger. It’s probably a good idea to just buy the set of the series. I know what you’re thinking, I HATE CLIFFHANGERS. These are novellas, I feel they should all be read together. It’ll read like a book if you read them all together. I, personally, enjoyed the story and will probably read the short story after this. It is erotica, but I have recently discovered that you can have an erotica with an interesting story line. Dare I say that I’m becoming a fan of romance? Both volume 2&3 are enjoyable in my opinion. I like the characters, I like the plot, and the romance is there. The characters have slightly matured over the years of the books, but that’s just their personality. I would read anything Brooke Cumberland wrote based on these novellas. I’ll give them both a 4/5.

I am obsessed with this story! I am not sure how I'm going to be able to handle the wait for Volume 3! This is just incredibly good - I love Bentley and I can't even imagine what's going to happen next! I am going to lose sleep over this, I need to know what's going to happen!?!?!?! The steam level in this volume was off the charts hot. Wow! My poor Bentley. I love this!!!!

I keep forgetting to rate and review this!
It was fast paced. I feel like these stories are all the same at this point.... Yet I keep reading them. lol! It wasn't bad.

I love serials and I don't know why because they more than likely have cliff hangers. Ugh!! I need book #3!!!

Plot: B
The plot was pretty good. We find out a clue that Cecilia is using to try and find out her father's murderer. But other than that, not uch in the way of developments. However, we DO find out something about what happened in Bentley's past to make him leary of relationships. Very interested to see how things turn out.
Characters: C+
Not much in the way of character development in this story, for reasons mentioned later. Not a lot of character dialogue. Wr don't see the balsy, yet somewhat Ceclia from last story. Bentley, meanwhile is all extra dominant.
Heat: A
The reason there wasn't much dialogue and plot is becaus there were sex scenes galore. And all mighty descriptive. There was some bj, backdoor, and some acrobatics...all of which was super hot.

The story was good, and I'm looking forward to vol 3. I just hope there is more of a plot so we can tie up loose ends. This story was mostly heat, and not the mystery that I enjoyed in the first.

This is the second part of the series. The only complaint I have is CeCe’s obsession over her dads death. No matter who she hurts she continues to obsess over it and nothing else matters. Otherwise I enjoyed the story.

The Intern 2 picks up right where the first one left off! In this one we get to see a lot more of Ceci and Bentley together, but the issue they have in this one is Bentley is suspicious of Ceci. Not only that but apparently Bentley has had to deal with a woman who used him in the past, and now Ceci isn't sure what she feels.. And neither is Bentley..

I really liked this one. I love getting to see these two together more, and see them struggling with their feelings. But it ended with another cliffhanger, and now we must wait for the next book. I really do hope the next one explains everything and everything gets fully resolved! I love this series. It has suspense, mystery, and lots of romance.

I read this in about an hour and a half and it was ok. I still feel like Ceci has a ego bigger than her head, but other than that, it's nice to see how their relationship is developing. I don't know if I'll get to read volume 3 tonight or I'll wait until tomorrow, but the investigation part is getting very very interesting.
