Started off okay but quickly went off in a million different directions. Way over the top, dull uninteresting characters who I couldn't care less about.
Badly written, all over the place plot wise, just a bit of a mess. I was ready to give up by the halfway point but I persevered in the hope it would get better but sadly, no. The "twist" at the end, poor. Where the 5 star reviews came from, I've no idea. Sorry but not for me at all.

Wowee what a book. Stuarts books seem to get better and better and I don't know how he does it. I have loved every book of his that I've read and this one did not disappoint.
I really love the concept that the book is based around selfies.
This book is the epitomy of gripping, I couldn't put it down.
I was desperate to know who it was that was captured in the Selfie and I had a couple of ideas as read further along but I didn't expect the ending.
I like how the characters lives are intertwined and finding out how they're connected.
I will definitely be recommending this book to friends and family.

Incredible! I adore Stuart James’ novels and this did not disappoint. Full to the brim with twists and turns which kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what was going to happen next. I thought the ending was spectacular a real cliffhanger which leaves you shocked and wanting to know more!
Would recommend to all thriller fans, this is exhilarating, tense and exactly what you would expect from a top thriller author.

This might be my favourite by this author. Great concept and very twisty turns in true Stuart James fashion!
Like his other books this one follows many points of view on different time lines. I felt this one did repeat some information unnecessarily from different points of view without revealing extra information.
James is great at adding a final twist in the last 10 or so pages in his stories. This one? My jaw dropped. I was NOT expecting it, did I think it worked? Sure... But also felt very out of the blue as there was no suggestion. However I can see why for the grand reveal.

First book by this author for me. It was on KU, sounded interesting, so I went for it. I quickly considered to dnf it in. The beginning but I am glad I pushed through. The story got way more complex and while usually disliking multiple POV’s, here it was quite fitting. The writing style was complex to me and the pacing was really quick. The storyline surprised me in the end, I did not see it going there. Will not be my last read by this author.
The one thing I found ridiculous was Matt saying “Sean, you put your life in grave danger” but in the same breath he is taking his 15 years old daughter with him. While I understand his need not to leave her alone…. It still?
