This book has some truly lovely details about the ways in which people slowly adapt and move past the supposed end of the world.
I felt that a couple of important plot threads didn't get resolved by the end, which was a little disappointing. But overall, it's a great character-driven novel which provides a bit of hope during dark times.

Where the Long Shadows End is best devoured in a single day when you can enjoy the quiet complexity of Brinn’s patchwork post-apocalyptic world, immerse yourself in the effortlessly gorgeous descriptions, and tag along with an engaging cast of survivors both losing and finding themselves along the way. A heartening conclusion to a beautiful series.
