Cable is just not a likable character. And a longish volume of Cable is kind of irritating. I kind of like Domino, without really even knowing her. As for X-Force, the former New Mutants, they seem to range from a little annoying to a lot annoying. The basic storyline had possibilities but the garish colors of the art was off-putting as is the size of Cable's entire body. And yet the book wasn't bad - just a little boring. 2.5 of 5.
