I loved the second installment in this trilogy! We continue right where we left off in book 1 - still so mad at Jason / Xander & wondering what Lia is going to do!

We find that maybe things aren't as the seem, but Lia is determined to get to the bottom of all the mysteries surrounding Xander, the temple, and the goddess!

I loved how Lia always had the support of her sisters. They are all so fierce in their own ways and together this group can take anything on!

While some mysteries we got some answers on by the end, we certainly have so many more that have come up. There are some heartbreakin events I should have seen coming too, but now I need to know how it all connects and what could possibly happen next! I can't wait to see how this series wraps up!

The tension in this book had me eating it up. The miscommunication trope is getting old, but it somehow still felt believable. I didn’t think the ending was as good as the first, but I appreciated the character arcs more. Love Io. Love the other girls’ growing relationships. Obviously obsessed with Lia and Xander. Waiting for the third book might kill me.
