I was very lucky to get an ARC from the publisher or my honest review and I was thoroughly WRECKED by this book! Sapphic enemies to lovers with an absolutely feral rebel leader and a calculating and cool turncoat mech Pilot?? *chef kiss* amazing. Love it.

The world building and character introductions were somewhat lacking in the beginning but it fixed itself ten times over by the end. I wish the whole “mechs are our gods” made more sense but to be honest it’s not the worst thing I’ve had to suspend my disbelief over.

This was a great debut and a fantastic start to what I’m sure is going to be the next big series in YA.

What I wouldn't give to read this book for the first time again. A truly powerful romance, as well as a wonderful commentary on society with incredible world building. Fantasy dystopia at its finest.
