As a massive mecha fan, this novel hits the spot. Carrying a mixed vibe of mecha meets cyborg (from teen titans). This duo POV novel was truly beautiful.

I'm not okay, this book is amazing, it fills all my weird lesbian drama niches.

It's got: Angsty sapphics, a lesbian who wants to be anything but a weapon but puts herself on the line constantly, a bisexual who is endlessly angry and willing to die for her family, older unhinged sisters who mean well but are terrifying, child soldiers that just want to be children, questionable citizens of a questionable society that consumes them without skipping a beat.......

my god.

I can't even say there were instances that made me roll my eyes because it was just a phenomenal read. A little slow, anxiety inducing at the start because it takes a while to get into the meat and both the ladies are in questionable situations. But once it got into it, I couldn't stop. So happy my library had this!!
