A great book, as always. I was glad to finally read the story of Professor Moriarty. The book came to a great end as Waldron recollects upon Holmes’ “death.” Incredibly captivating book.

i was gobsmacked to realise that i hadn’t touched the sherlock holmes series since january last year… no idea where that time went, and also weird since i was enjoying the series quite a bit. but i’m back on it now and i’m glad i am; the memoirs of sherlock holmes was another nice entry into the series.

At first Sherlock Holmes stories are interesting, but after a while they become repetitive. This seems to be the point where Doyle ran out of ideas and just started repeating himself. Half the plots are just repeated from previous stories.
