book of all time! a perfectly humid, sweaty, nasty summer read. 

this book is one of my most re-read books ever, I love it for the atmospheric writing and terrific suspense. I would read Gillian Flynn's grocery lists, she's just so good at building that sense of dread. the twist at the end is ultra-satisfying, even when re-reading.

Please don’t read this book if you’re in a bad place with regards to self-harm. It’s an amazing story and it means the world to me, but I did find it extremely triggering.
