I adored this book. Jess was a fantastic protagonist. The pacing was wonderful and the tension throughout was excellent.
A very well written book and there were a ton of tiny details that made all the difference when it came to really feeling Jess’s isolation. The ending just about killed me though, I cried so hard.

Super good survival book! I felt like I was there with Jess while she went through this. A very good ending but was definitely sad Bo didn’t make it. Definitely recommend!
Pretty intense struggle for survival story in an isolated part of Canada. The only part I found a little unlikely is how Jess is sent north, across the border, without any official vetting. However, once I got past that, I quite enjoyed this.
