I really liked this book. I wasn't sure where it was going but it ended up really nice. Some parts of it were actually really creepy, too, which was a nice surprise.

I like the messages of the book and I like the overall story. I just wish his mom didn't have to be dead for the plot to make sense. :c

I won't lie, it's difficult to get through the first 50 or so pages due to the main characters constant outbursts and such. But once you enter the world and see how all the pieces connect, you are welcomed into a story of dark whimsy and strong personal development, creating an air of hope and mystery.
