Well written, interesting story told in a narrative fashion
informative fast-paced

Really good. Missing information in some parts. I’m sure there was a lot of information to dig through and decide what all to include in the book but it was never explained how they found a server in Iceland, and why it was there (?? Literally had to ask Derek and he didn’t really understand what I was even asking). Also the author never thanks Julia in the acknowledgments but it felt like he had a lot of information from her either through interviews or other sources?? Happy for Julia that according to her instagram she has a daughter and a nice man! That girlie really went through it!! Also dying to know how Ross met his current wife bc she was never mentioned in the book

I loved this. I was shook the whole time

I'm sorry to say, but I hated this book. It very much gave the vibe of written by someone a generation older then a millennial, written for that same generation, but staring one of the most recognisible criminals of the millennial generation. We millennials are not the target audience here I fear.
Honestly there are a million more entertaining video essays of this story online. Plus the whole non-fiction book written as a novel thing annoyed the arse off me.

Popsugar reading challenge: A book about pirates

Okay this is stretching the theme a bit but I feel like I read the phrase “dread pirate roberts” 100,000 times sooooo is it really?
