Blown away by Youngmi’s memoir and the gift that is the stories she chose to share with us. Her perspective and voice masterfully subverts tired tropes in a way that is brutal and but still so relatable. The heartbreak in between the humor and clarity is devastating in a way that is unflinchingly and yet held with so much care. Astounding, and a must read for anyone living through these times.
