Loved this memoir! Was cool to see the author's perspective as a wasian who grew up in Asia and moved to the US. Author is so good at describing some of the saddest times in her life, but making it funny and humorous to combat it, just as the title suggests.

Recommended by a friend and was only told it was an auto biography of a comedian.  I expected it to be fun y but I was wrong!  This author's family history is so sad.  I did find the book very well written and she threw in some bits of history and culture too.  So I learned a lot.  Overall great book !
