Bought this on a whim with zero regrets. The art is beautiful, the stories thoughtful and strange. I feel a little bad about reading it so quickly, because the artist put so much work into it, but I just wanted to keep reading. Loved the strange places and liminal spaces and the wizard is #lifegoals.

Thank you to the publisher for an eARC.
An interesting collection of short comics, some of which are loosely connected. The "Quest" series was my favorite, but most were enjoyable. A few were a bit repetitive.
Most of the stories deal with isolation as the summary suggests, but also with our (lack of a) relationship to nature, which often combine to form a subtly sad narrative of lonely people desperately trying to interact with the natural world, often through a sleep or meditation podcast.
The few stories around memory were very intriguing and I enjoyed their loose connection, but overall the collection has a kind of quiet sadness.
