So… yeah… um… not sure what I just read. And even more, why did I like it so much? If you are interested in this book, just dive in blindly. Trust me, you don’t want to know because if you know that will ruin this whole freakish show of these characters. They are so flawed and human and imperfect that you’re not even sure if you like them… either of them. Knox was the biggest asshole of all the assholes in the world. And don’t even get me started on Aspen and her stubborn ass and daddy issues.

This book had all the drama, angst, with twists and turns with some romance thrown in there and oh, there’s a killer on the loose. I really enjoyed most of this book… that is up until it felt rushed and ended. I loved the intense build up but then it just seemed to wrap up rather quickly and it was a let down from that build up. I would have given this book 4 stars or more if not for that ending.

This is my first book from this author. I will definitely check out her other books.

Soooooo good. I did not see the twists coming.

I read this because I have always enjoyed Ashley Jade books, but this doesn't even seem like the writer I'm used to.
This book should have been 100 pages long. It was long and meandering with random plot points thrown in for no apparent reason.
The ending was rushed and the only part of the book I wanted more of but was crushed into 7 minutes of audio.

This was a great step brother bully romance!! Knox and Aspen were such great but very complex characters. It was inevitable that they would end up together. So many twists and turns had me shocked but over all it was such a great book I couldn’t put it down!! Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good bully enemies to lovers romance. Got my copy from the bully me book crate!

Remember that time you were doing something you maybe shouldn't be doing and you almost got caught? Your heart rate kicked up to a dangerous level and you thought you might die right? But...part of you wanted to get caught. It's a very distinct feeling. And it is the actual vibe of this whole book.

I was seeing this book EVERYWHERE so naturally I neglected my responsibilities and read it. Sweet naughty nothings I'm so glad I did. This was a slow recovery read. The next couple of books I read after were a bit hard to focus on. My mind kept going back to Knox. He. Is. Everything.

Whatever you think this book is, you're probably wrong. Yes it's a bully book but don't stereotype because it is much much more. Don't write it off as any old bully book. There is an aggressive mystery going on in the background and if you don't stick through til the end you'll seriously miss out. The book stays heated and then BOOM! Molotov. It friggin' EXPLODES!

Do it justice. Read to the end. You will NOT regret it!

I was amazed at how good this book was! Ashley Jade is a new author to me, and step-brother romances usually don't appeal to me, but I couldn't put this book down! This is a true dark bully romance and let me tell you that you will not regret reading it. Personally, I prefer a dual point of view, since I enjoy knowing what both characters are thinking. Knox and Aspen despise each other for the majority of the book, so I was wondering how this would turn into a romance. But trust me it does and you will love it!

“I hated her for breathing the same air as me. I hated her for existing.”
“She’s a purebred fire crotch. The carpet matches the drapes. B!%ch smells like tuna though.”
“Because I knew you’d be in pain. And I wanted to see it.”
“I hate you.”

This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. As you read each chapter, the twists and turns of the story just suck you in. The author did an amazing job creating the story. There's a lot of spice in this book, and the scenes are great.

I wish the story had just focused on the actual romance. The stepbrother bully trope was actually going ok. Once the murder mystery part of the book took over it just went downhill. The plot and the choices the characters made were just confusing and didn't make sense.

Knox and Aspen. They knew each other when they were little. He stole her hair ribbon. His dad is an FBI agent. His mom died when he was young and people thought he did it.

Holy Sh!t!
That's was...
I'm speechless.

First time reading Ashley Jade and it definitely won't be the last.
Matter of fact, I might be on my way to amazon now and get acquainted with her backlist.
Phenomenal storyteller.
