*3.5*
The first half of the book was boring and honestly I couldn't connect with the characters, in fact, I didn't even remembered their names half of the time, but it gets better and the build up of the relationship was cute.
cons: I feel like it took her too much time to tell him the truth and later everything gets resolved so fast
pros: - I loved the girls friendship and I really want to read their books, especially Audrey and her friend
- the forgiveness part with Mr Cunningham was really great to read, I really liked their relationship with him

I know this is a strange gripe, but throughout the book I felt like the main and side characters’ names didn’t fit them and it took me out of the story.

I also felt like we were left with unanswered questions—like the story behind Naomi changing her last name. And frankly giving Oliver an ex-fiancée whom he talks about twice felt completely unnecessary. That’s a very big relationship to gloss over so quickly.

4.5 stars. Delightful! I loved the characters. Something of an enemies to lovers trope, but one of the people didn't know why they were enemies. Great chemistry between the characters. Looking forward to the other two books in the series! (language, sex)

This romcom was fun, flirty & has me interested in the rest of the series. I loved our main characters and their story and I look forward to seeing what is next for them and their friends.

ARC received via Netgalley for an honest review

It has been a while since I have read a Lauren Layne book ,so why not dive back in with Passion On Park Avenue.

This did start off in an unusual way, and you will need to suspend your sense of belief right from the start, as there is no way that things would really go the way they did.

I did like the friendships that Naomi made at the beginning of the book, and was curious as to how they maintained throughout the story.

Oliver was wonderful - though I am not sure I would put up with the way Naomi was with him for as long as he did.

I wanted to shake some sense into Naomi on more than one occasion, and did the epic eye roll at her at times - I mean, really lady, really? I think if it was not for her friends and their influence on her, I could have really not liked her at all.

But this could all just be me.

I am looking forward to seeing where the author takes these friendships and relationships i the future.

Almost 4 stars... I loved the book. Till the last 1 and half chapters. The ending should be make you smile, but the last one and half I was constantly rolling my eyes. I was exhausted with the same old predictable boringness of the story.

The story was cute. It wasn’t dramatic (thank fuck) she was strong but not bitchy. Vindictive and sour but still kind and have sensible head. And rich is rich fuck. And Oliver( I really like that name) he charming, even through pages you can see how charming he is. He is interesting, old money, sweet, taunting and flirty. They had chemistry and attraction and he was never an ass or a bastard or a creep. I loved it. If only the ending was better.

Oh yeah, the book reminded me of Rachel Gibson. Romantic everything with a slap like sudden ending where they say “I love you” to each other in the last possible chapter. Everything considered. Really good book.
