I was really surprised about how much I loved this book. The story really pulled me in and kept me pulled in the entire time. Naomi is a successful new money business woman in NYC and an apartment that is in a building from her past has become vacant. Her mother filled out an application for this apartment before she died, on the upper east side. Will her moving into this apartment help her resolve the pain of some of her past or make it worse? Read to hear about the story behind this apartment building and how she met her two best friends in the weirdest chance meeting one could ever have.

I listened to the audio of this and loved it. It was a fun enemies to lovers!

lauren layne never really misses for me, but this was definitely one of my least favourite books by her so far.

it was cute and i liked the concept, but i didn’t really connect with the romance at all. i did like the friendship between the girls, and the relationship between walter and naomi was really interesting to me.

i have higher hopes for claire and audrey’s books so fingers crossed

It sucks to find out the guy you’ve been dating has a wife. It sucks even more to find this out from his obituary. If this didn’t already hook you, how about the fact that Naomi Powell (our leading lady) has now become friends with the ex wife as well as another mistress? Or the enemies to lovers romance we’ve got going on with her childhood nemesis?⁣

If you can’t tell, this book has a lot to love. There’s also the New York vibes, empowering women, and strong female friendships.⁣

My one major gripe was the amount of time Naomi spent focusing on this grudge from childhood. It got a little petty and drawn out. It kind of took over most of the book where there could’ve been more romance!⁣

Complaints aside, this is a super cute, fun romance and I can’t wait to continue reading this series! I also have no idea how I didn’t know about it until the last book came out. ⁣

I was fighting to even finish this book, miscommunication or like secret keeping, whatever you wanna call it tropes annoy me so this was up there as one of the worst, naomi and oliver are cute but I think a different trope would have done them justice.

intrigued about Scott and Claire but I know for fact Audrey and Clarke is my brand so we’re ready.

Imagine that your boyfriend dies suddenly, and you find out that not only was he married, but he had another girlfriend as well. Then, you meet both women in Central Park on the day of his funeral and not only become best friends, but create a pact to not let each other date another man like him.

Passion on Park Avenue follows Naomi Powell as she navigates life after the man she was sleeping with passes away. Not only that, but she is offered the opportunity to get revenge on the man (and his son) that ruined her and her mother's lives...by moving into his apartment building on Park Avenue. She moves in, ready to confront them, only to find out that Walter has Alzheimers AND she's attracted to his son, Oliver, who she blames for lying to his mother and ruining Naomi's life. Does she confront them and ruin any chance at continuing their friendship, or say nothing?

The story was centered on the Naomi/Oliver situation more so than Naomi and her two new besties, which makes sense as this is the first book in a trilogy. It was a light and fun read, and perfect after a heavier book, a palate cleanser of sorts. I enjoyed it!

For a book with 'passion' in the name you would think they might add some.

Nice, easy, and a definite needed read. I love the backdrop of New York and the glitz and glam. And the wine in mugs.

I liked this more the second time around! Still super cute, but I think going into it knowing how it ended let me connect to the characters more. Still sad that it's fade to black though
