Ali Hazelwood can do no wrong in my book, so it should be no surprise that I loved Not In Love. Rue and Eli had instant chemistry and the dual POV, a first for the author, was the perfect combination of pining, angst, and intrigue. While I guessed the underlying conflict pretty early, it was handled so well and wasn't contrived at all. This STEMinist book definitely focused more on the romance and less on the science, but I really connected with the reason Rue was doing her research, how it stemmed from past trauma, and Eli's protectiveness over her feelings and work. These two are gonna make it <3
