I read this book's Serbian translation titled "Žetva duša - Svet se deli".

I read this book many years ago and the story really holds up.  The audiobook was great.

I enjoyed this book the most so far out of any of the previous ones in the series. The series is really picking up now and I'm finding myself really caring about what happens to the main characters.

This was the least boring of the books, but just as poorly written as the others. A huge middle chunk was just a back and forth between two protagonists doing the exact same things over and over. Most of it is an anti-abortion screed. The "good guys" are so cartoonishly valiant and the bad guys so cartoonishly evil, it's like the book was written by children. I'm going to read all of these horrible things, though.

Worst of the first four books by far! Almost nothing happens throughout the book, at least anything important. Only in the last chapter does anything of real significance happen.

I read this back in 1999, so my memory is pretty fuzzy, but I remember being riveted by this part of the 10-book story.

This book is a work of fiction. It's not a research book, nor is it 100% accurate according to the Bible. But I remember the overall story being pretty entertaining for an end-times-after-the-Christians-have-been-raptured sort of universe. Several people have mentioned that the writing style itself is fairly pedestrian. I didn't notice at 19, and I don't really remember now. *shrugs*
