I found this book very enlightening and have a goal to move towards a growth mindset.

Mindset is a must-read for anyone looking to grow, improve, and unlock their full potential. Carol Dweck’s insights into the power of a growth mindset are truly eye-opening. The book offers practical advice for parents, teachers, leaders, and anyone striving for personal or professional success. It challenges the way we think about abilities and shows how embracing a growth mindset can lead to incredible transformation. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A good overall message, but I found it far longer than necessary and a bit repetitive. Maybe it’s because I already tend towards the growth mindset so it all just made sense!

"It was okay" sums up my feelings about this book entirely. Dweck asserts some good points, of course, but nothing that could be considered "new" or "groundbreaking." OF COURSE people who are willing to try new things have a better shot at fuller, happier and more enriching lives; OF COURSE people who pigeonhole themselves wind up stifled and sad.

Maybe it's just because self-help isn't my particular bag, but I felt like responding with a good old 1990s style "DUH" to every single chapter.

This is an excellent companion book to go with The Infinite Game. It does strike me as a “preaching to the choir” book though; people with a Growth mindset are most likely to read the book while people with a fixed mindset are the ones that actually need to read it. Otherwise, I thought Dr. Dweck provided plenty of examples of practical application of the growth mindset in lots of different areas of life (work, relationships, parenting, coaching, etc).
