I wonder who will play Negan on the show. Because there's no way, assuming the show runs long enough, they can leave him out. He makes The Governor look like the rainbow cat.

I am a sick, twisted human being. Far more twisted than Kirkman. Because what I figured he would do to Carl...yeah. It's best left unsaid.

I'm sick.

This one was much better :) There's a lot of intrigue going on now, between Rick and Negan (who, despite being a complete psycho, is actually a pretty interesting character), there's a lot of "he knows that I know that he knows" going on, but there's also a lot of guesswork, more like "I think he knows that I might know that he could know". Also, I freaking love King Ezekiel more than my own life, dude has a freaking tiger! :D

I do not yet know if I trust Dwight. I want to trust him. But Negan basically runs a freaking cult and I don't trust cult members as far as I can throw them. We shall see...

As usual, things are on the brink of total chaos. Rick tries to buy time with the neighborhood bully while trying to figure out the best mode of attack, and ends up enlisting the help of some surprising allies.

So just to recap:We have 3 areas: Alexandria (where our people hang), Hilltop (another "safe" compound), the Saviors' compound, and the "Kingdom" (which is as cracked out as it sounds).
Carl takes it upon himself to attack the Saviors, which is rather ballsy for our favorite maturing sociopath.  He gets caught, but not punished, by Negan, who takes him on a tour of the Saviors' compound.   Negan is just as much of a sociopath as ever, and yet we're supposed to believe he's "reasonable" by the end of the volume.  Eh.
So basically, everyone in Alexandria is trying to figure out whether to stay or go, Rick is pretending to cave to Negan to hatch a master plan, which he cocks up when he loses his shit over Carl,   Jesus is running around trying to help with Rick's (original) plan and recruit the Kingdom, and everyone is, of course, at odds and trying to survive.
I enjoyed this one a little less only because I had forgotten half of the characters and I don't really find the drawings much help (the art makes a lot of the guys look the same), but there was forward plot with story and things are happening (what!  Ammunitions are being made!  and Go! Andrea!).
